At Coco Gelato, we’ve spent a long time researching how to make the very best authentic gelato. Here's how we got here...
After many trips to Italy and endless months of research we partnered with some of the best manufactures of gelato. We sourced all our ingredients from Bologna and then spent many months with gelato Chefs training us in the art of authentic gelato, the Italian way. Our gelato chef has been trained to the Italian standard to produce some of the best gelato in the U.K. Attention-to-detail and innovation is at the heart of our ethos.
Since 2015 Coco Gelato has been producing authentic gelato, sourced directly from Italy only the finest products enter our manufacturing process. Using the best ingredients has given us the ability to produce award winning gelato. In our eyes gelato is the finest form of “ice-cream”. Italy produces some of the best products in the world, gelato is one of them and we are very proud to be able to provide it to the people of Wales. Remember its gelato not ice-cream.
Our concept started from a traditional Italian dessert parlour which quickly developed into a modern day concept. It’s not just our gelato that is authentic. Our restaurant was designed in Italy, our gelato machinery, cabinets, fridges, freezers, furniture and even our tiles were all imported directly from Bologna. We have tried our very best to bring a piece of Italy directly to Wales.
